yeah... after many of toil and blunder... I finally made it to the end of my college year...
I have a few things to show for it... but mostly it's respect.
I noticed that bein' at college gave me respect throughout the school, and I'm glad for that... recognition as well... while here... not so much...
Wow, this free subscription is actually pretty cool, but enough of that...Seriously guys... baDAMN... Kunicon was a blast.
Nan Desu Kan in 3 months... and I plan on going as Spike from Cowboy Bebop... hell, I have the hair for it.
I saw some Gundam 08th MS Team while I was there... as well as a smidgen of Kung Fu Hussle.. but I left to play some of Naruto the Game... there was Naruto ( some japanese word ) 2 and Naruto ( some OTHER japanese word ) 3. I played 3, and wow... it also rocked. Think of Budukai 3 but without flying, and without the needless hassle of pressing three punch two kick fourteen block and energy to do a move. It's a matter of rolling the thumbstick and hitting a button. THERE IS ALSO the choice of choosing three people on your team WHICH also gives you the chance of doing a triple super, which kill a lot.
Speaking of Budokai 3, I won a tournament that was held there, got me a Kunicon T-Shirt and a Trigun DVD ( Vol 4 ). I came also in second in the Soul Calibur 2 Tourney, but you don't get a damn thing for coming in second. And I was also doing rather well in Halo 2, didn't enter the tourney, but that's cause I thought that people were good, but I was getting number one kills a few times.. then people switched to game modes like Oddball and Jauggernaut and I was screwed.
Fun though, if you've not been to an Anime Convention of any kind.. DO IT.. plain and simple, don't give up the opportunity, even if you don't particularly like anime, do it to have fun.
It was a blast.
